On 23 Jan 2023, a Memorandum of cooperation was signed between Avicenna - Batumi Medical University and Salikh Abashidze Regional Center of Infectious Pathology, Aids and Tuberculosis LLC

In order to engage students in medical practical activities, the cooperation aims to teach the clinical components of the university's One-Cycle Program of Medicine in a clinical environment.
