Avicenna – Batumi Medical University announces admission to Residency Programs and Certified Physician Training Programs.

Registration period: From June 10, 2026 to July 10, 2026

 Advantages of Avicenna Residency Programs:

  • Residents with the best academic performance will receive university-funded grants;
  • Opportunity to work in the position of Junior Doctor during the training period;
  • Employment opportunities at Avicenna University Hospitals and Clinics upon completion of training and receipt of certification.

 Admission Procedure for Avicenna Residency and Certified Physician Training Programs:

  • Applicants will undergo testing and an interview;
  • Admission decisions are based on the results of the test, interview, and the Unified Postgraduate Qualification Examination.

 Top-performing residents will:

✔ be employed at Avicenna University Hospitals and Clinics:

  • LLC “High Technology Hospital Medcenter“
  • LLC “High Technology Hospital Medcenter” (Batumi University Hospital)
  • LLC “University Clinic of Innovative Medicine“
  • LLC “Regional Center of Family Medicine“
  • LLC “Solomedi”“

✔ receive educational grants.

Each applicant may apply to only one program announced by Avicenna; however, during the selection process, applicants may indicate a second preferred related specialty.
