Avicenna - Batumi Medical University participated in the scientific picnic: "Blue Policy of the Maritime Country", which was held on September 20, 2023, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The event was aimed at popularizing science and raising public awareness of the latest scientific researches in the field of biodiversity, ecology, natural resources, climate, socio-economic, political, cultural-historical, and other areas of the Black Sea and coastal region.

In front of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, in the open air, in about 30 tents, the findings of scientific studies depicting the research of the Black Sea region were presented to visitors of different ages in a fun and interesting way. Scientific experiments were conducted, interactive exhibitions were held, entertainment activities and cognitive quizzes were run.
