On November 7, 2024, within the framework of the grant project "Implementation of OSTE (Objectively Structured Teaching Encounter) Stations in Georgian Higher Educational Institutions", a training was held for invited and academic personnel at Avicenna - Batumi Medical University.
The training was led by Associate Professor Shorena Tukvadze, Head of Programs at the Georgian-American University School of Medicine, Giorgi Gabisonia, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance at the School of Medicine, and Irine Nameshvili, Head of the Research Department.
The workshop focused on the role and importance of OSTE stations in medical education, discussed situational tasks that contribute to the development of practical skills, and also implemented various interactive activities aimed at strengthening participant engagement and introducing innovative teaching approaches.
