Academic staff and rheumatology residents of Avicenna – Batumi Medical University participated in a major international scientific forum — the World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases (WCO-IOF-ESCEO), held on April 16–20, 2026, in Prague, Czech Republic.   Representing the university’s academic staff, Professor Neriman Tsintsadze and Associate Professor Lia Jashi delivered scientific contributions at the congress. Additionally, within the framework of the forum, the university’s rheumatology residents presented their own scientific report.   The knowledge and experience gained during the congress provide a significant foundation for the implementation and advancement of modern, evidence-based clinical practice in Georgia.   Participation in this international event once again confirms the university’s commitment to high academic and clinical standards, as well as its active engagement in the global scientific and professional community, contributing to the development of continuous professional education.
