On October 16, 2023, Christopher Stephens, Emeritus Professor of Medical Education, University of Southampton, UK conducted a training session on the topic: Modern Challenges in Medical Education for academic and invited staff of Avicenna - Batumi Medical University.

Christopher Stephens is an external evaluator of the one-cycle educational program of Medicine - “Graduate Medical Doctor” of Avicenna-Batumi Medical University. Valuable suggestions and recommendations given by him have been considered for further development and improvement of the program.

The University is planning long-term cooperation with Professor Stephens, the international expert of medical education.
