On 11 November 2022, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Avicenna - Batumi Medical University and L. Sakvarelidze National Center For Disease Control and Public Health.

The agreement between parties aims to coordinate the implementation of educational, scientific-research, and innovation promotion measures and student support in finding opportunities for internship, employment, and development of professional skills.
