Avicenna - Batumi Medical University announces a call for applications for the Fall Semester Mobility Program of the 2026–2027 Academic Year at the partner institution, the Powiślańska Academy of Applied Sciences in Gdańsk (Poland)

Mobility duration: 3-4 months, October/November 2026 – February 2027

Eligible applicants are students of the MD Program (“Medical Doctor” Program) at Avicenna – Batumi Medical University, who hold active student status in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th academic year.

To participate in the exchange program, please complete the registration at the indicated link

Application deadline: 31.03.2026

To participate in the competition, the student must submit the following documents electronically:

  • Copy of ID card or passport
  • Proof of English language proficiency (minimum B2 level) or a confirmation letter (If you do not have a B2 English language certificate, you will be required to take an exam at the university)
  • Certificate confirming active student status
  • Motivation letter
  • One letter of recommendation from academic staff at Avicenna
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Europass format

Stages of the Selection Process:

  • Submission and preliminary review of documents;
  • Interviews with shortlisted candidates;
  • Announcement of the selected student;
  • Selection Committee Members:

    • Office of International Relations and Strategic Planning
    • Dean’s Office of the School of Medicine
    • Quality Assurance Office
    • Representative of the Administration

    Selection Criteria:

    • Academic performance
    • Student’s motivation
    • Proficiency in English
    • Future plans for applying the acquired knowledge
