From 1 to 10 June 2026, Avicenna – Batumi Medical University will host the Avicenna International Student Scientific Conference 2026 (AISC-2026).
Conference Objectives:
- To systematize students' knowledge, deepen subject-specific understanding, and foster the development of practical and creative skills;
- To develop students' ability to conduct independent research, prepare scientific-research papers, and present and defend their findings;
- To encourage young researchers to engage in future scientific-research activities.

Important Dates:
1–15 April 2026 - Registration of paper titles and scientific supervisors. Submission of documentation (Form N1, Form N2, and student status certificate for students from other universities) via email - conference@abmu.edu.ge
1–5 May 2026 - Submission of originality statement signed by the supervisor (Form N3) via email: conference@abmu.edu.ge, and uploading the paper to the plagiarism detection system (TURNITIN).
8–15 May 2026 - Stage I of the competition: evaluation of student research papers by the Evaluation Committee.
18–22 May 2026 - Publication of Stage I results and selection of up best papers.
1–10 June 2026 - Stage II of the competition: public presentation of student research papers.
10–11 June 2026 - Announcement of winning papers and award ceremony.
Participation Conditions (See the Rule):

The conference is open to all students of Avicenna – Batumi Medical University with active student status, as well as interested students with active status from other accredited higher education institutions.

Each participant may submit no more than 2 (two) papers, and with only 1 (one) paper allowed per subject area.

A single research paper may be co-authored by no more than 2 (two) students.

The research paper must represent independent work carried out individually or jointly with another student and must reflect the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during the study and research process

For Avicenna students, the scientific supervisor must be an academic staff member or an invited academic personnel of Avicenna – Batumi Medical University. For students from other universities, the scientific supervisor may be either an academic staff member of Avicenna – Batumi Medical University or an academic staff member of the relevant accredited higher education institution.
- One supervisor/co-supervisor may supervise no more than 3 (three) student research papers simultaneously.
Within the registration deadlines, student participants must submit:
- Application for participation (Form №1)
- Consent letter from the scientific supervisor (Form №2)
- Declaration of originality of the scientific research paper (Form №3)
- Student status certificate (for students from other universities)
Awarded Papers and Dissemination:
- All conference participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
- Research papers scoring 81 points or higher will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
- Authors of winning papers will receive monetary awards:
I Place - 300,00 GEL
II Place - 200,00 GEL
III Place - 100,00 GEL
