Avicenna - Batumi Medical University, LLC announces registration for the USMLE Preparation Program, designed for students and graduates of the one-cycle Medical Doctor (MD) educational program who aim to successfully pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE - Step 1 and Step 2).
The program aims to deepen participants’ theoretical knowledge, strengthen clinical reasoning, and develop exam-oriented analytical skills essential for success in the USMLE examinations.
The program consists of six independent yet sequentially structured courses (modules).
Enrollment is available for individual courses or for the entire program, based on the participant’s pre-test results and academic needs.
Program Modules:
AVEX-001 - Medical Foundations (Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, and basic principles of Physiology)
AVEX-002 - Immunology, microbiology, Biostatistics, Epidemiology
AVEX-003 - Cardiovascular, respiratory, and renal system (anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, and Pharmacology in an organ-system framework)
AVEX-004 - Gastrointestinal, Endocrine, Reproductive, Hematologic/Oncologic Systems (Integrated study of multi-system topics)
AVEX-005 - Neurology and Musculoskeletal Systems (Neuroanatomy, Psychiatry, Neurophysiology, behavioral sciences, and key pathologies of the neuromuscular system) and Ethics.
AVEX-006 - Integrated Review and QBank Mastery (Comprehensive revision, test strategies, and NBME-style question practice)
General Structure of the Program
- Total number of courses: 6
- Duration of each course: 15 weeks (45 academic hours)
- Study sessions: 2 sessions per week
- Session duration: 2 academic hours (1.5 astronomical hours)
- Learning format: Hybrid (online/in-person)
- Admission type: Open enrollment
- Admission requirement: Pre-test
- Group size: 6-8 participants
