From August 27, 2025, Avicenna - Batumi Medical University announces an open competition to select academic staff for the following academic positions:

Public Health and Basic Medicine Department:

• Assistant Professor - 1 vacant position;
• Assistant - 7 vacant positions;

Preclinical Department:

• Assistant Professor - 3 vacant positions;
• Assistant - 6 vacant positions;

Clinical Department:

• Assistant Professor - 3 vacant positions;
• Assistant - 7 vacant positions;

Competition deadlines:

• Receipt of competition Documents: September 27 - October 01, 2025 (Documentation can be submitted either in hard copies or electronically via email at info@abmu.edu.ge).
• Evaluation of documents by the Competition Commission (First Stage of the Competition) and Interviews with competitors (Second Stage of the Competition): October 02-13, 2025;
• Publication of preliminary/initial results of the competition: October 13, 2025;
• Appeal of the competition procedure or decision of the Competition Commission (Appeals can be submitted at the legal address of Batumi Medical University: Tbeti St. N4, 4th floor, room N402, Batumi.): October 16, 2025, from 10:00 to 16:00.
• Final results of the competition (List of Winning Candidates):  October 17-20, 2025 2025;
• Appointment of winning candidates to the vacant academic positions, followed by the signing of affiliation agreements and labor contracts: October 20, 2025.
